Die Hammond _(-Orgel) ist seit den 60ern mein erklärter Liebling, geriet aber im Laufe der Zeit (nicht nur bei mir!) etwas in Vergessenheit.
Irgendwann hörte ich nach langer Zeit 'mal wieder "Time Is Tight" von Booker T. & The MGs und das brachte mich auf den Gedanken, stilistisch ähnliches zu versuchen und eine CD mit Hammond-Instrumentals aufzunehmen. Die Basis dazu sollten ursprünglich Gitarren-Instrumentals der frühen 60er Jahre bilden («The Shadows», «The Ventures», «The Spotniks» etc.). Im Laufe der Zeit habe ich das Konzept um meine "Lieblings-Songs" erweitert, und aus der geplanten einen CD sind es deren fünf geworden. An weiteren arbeite ich hin und wieder ein wenig. Hier habe ich das Grundkonzept einige Male verlassen und Titel mit Gesang aufgenommen (z.B. «I Am The Walrus», «For What It´s Worth», «Race With The Devil»). Und weil es sich hier immer noch um «Low-Budget»-Produktionen handelt, habe ich selbst gesungen..., na gut, ich habe Texte in Tonnähe gerufen...

Hier finden Sie eine Auswahl an Rock-Klassikern und TV/Film-Musik, denen ich einige meiner Instrumentalkompositionen zugefügt habe. Die Detailangaben zu den Titeln sind nur als Info-Service zu Erscheinungsjahr und Komponist gedacht. Meine Interpretationen sind keine Kopien dieser Ersterscheinungen, sondern Cover im eigentlichen Sinne.

Zum Runterladen klicken Sie bitte den jeweiligen Titel im Menu «Shops/Direct Downloads» an.
